5 things I’ve learnt from Coronavirus🦠 — Qatar reel by TripleF Qatar

5 things I’ve learnt from Coronavirus🦠 Back in June this year, I tested positive for COVID19 and I was isolated for 2 weeks, during this time and after, I had a lot of time to think of what I’ve learnt from this experience. Here are the 5 key things I learnt: 1) It can happen to anyone. At the start I thought I don’t know anyone that has COVID-19 - Until I became the first person I know that has it. I was wearing masks & washing my hands - but still, it happened. So stay safe and follow instructions from health care experts! 💊 2) Take time to pause & reflect. We sometimes get so busy with our lives that we lose track of the good things we have going. Be grateful for what you have and do not take anything for granted. This pandemic thought us to appreciate little things like going out for a coffee or gathering with some friends. Prioritize what is important to you and do it now! You want to start your own business or take that trip to Bali? Do it now. 🌴 3) We are connected. What was once an event in a far away town in China, is impacting all of us regardless of where we are. Don’t underestimate how your actions can impact the lives of people. 4) Work for a company that puts people at heart ❤️ Companies that made the right decisions around pay, time off and health and safety ensured that no one is at risk or financial hardship. Working from home has certainly tested business continuity and IT capabilities of companies like never before, yet in the chaos, working from home, emails and zoom calls continued to make sure that work is done as one team - Choose an employer that understands this. 5) Plan but be ready to adapt: Going back to January 2020, every company or individual would have had a plan for each quarter, year, or next 5 years - but BOOM! Every plan that has been made even by some of the smartest people in the world has been challenged. Not the one with the plan wins, but the one with the abilities to adapt, maneuver, and change when required wins. The only constant in life is change, so always have a Plan B or C. Finally, this is beautiful reminder that we can learn through hardship. Like, comment, and share if you liked this post #Qatar #doha
