QatarEnergy confirmed that the explosion and fire at the Barzan local gas supply facility in Ras Laffan on June 21 was caused by an operational accident and not any hostile activity. Authorities confirmed the deaths of 13 individuals of Indian and Pakistani nationalities, while 66 others were injured and are receiving treatment, with no life-threatening cases reported. Officials also stated that Qatar's gas exports and local energy supply remain unaffected
